Today I want to teach you that the best way to remember a book forever and ever is to tell someone else about it. After you read a great book, you can take it to a friend and say. “Can I tell you about this book?” If you’ve marked some of the important parts, it will help you retell what happened.

You can read a book in Spanish or English.
When you get to Raz-Kids…

Start the timer for 15 minutes.6. Don’t forget to click on the microphone when you are ready to record one of your stories!
So far, Cristian, Kelly, Ann, Evan and Hudson have recorded themselves reading a story on Raz-Kids!
We are going to read some stories about Gran and her two grandkids, Jen and Josh. We will read about Josh and Jen at their swim competition and then about when Gran went swimming at a
coral reef in the ocean.
As you read, look for the words with the long vowel sounds.
Read the story once with the reader, and then read it by yourself.

Lesson 9.9- How do you know whether to draw and write time to the hour or time to the half hour?
● Look at the clocks to the right. Listen to the sentences below and point to the clock that shows the correct time.
● Barbara went to the store at 8:00. Which clock shows 8:00?
● Then she took her dog for a walk at 1:30. Which clock shows 1:30?
