2. Read “The Man to send Rain Clouds” by Leslie Marmon Silko on pages 49—52 of the yellow The Language of Literature text.

3. Respond to the following prompt:o In a well-developed essay, identify similarities and differences

of style, subject and theme in The Way from Rainy Mountain and Leslie Marmon Silko’s story "The Man to Send Rain Clouds".
