Time saved on the roadside improves safety and can be reallocated to other activities. digiTICKET replaces paper ticket books while eliminating illegible handwriting and error-prone data entry - easily transferring ticket data to Court and Records Management Systems.

HOW IT WORKSThe digiTICKET solution utilizes a rugged handheld computer or scanner connected to a laptop or tablet to scan driver licenses, capture vehicle information and issue citations. Standard digiTICKET operation does not require a data connection. If a connection exists, digiTICKET can perform NCIC queries and use returned data to populate the ticket and notify officers of warrants or stolen vehicles. Software on the handheld and tablet can capture electronic signatures, photographs, fingerprints, GPS coordinates and voice notes. Once a ticket is completed, it is printed on a mobile thermal printer. Tickets can then be electronically transferred from the mobile device to the digiTICKET server (web application) via a secure cradle or wireless data connection. Tickets on the web application can be managed and reproduced in PDF format, reports can be generated and ticket data can be electronically transferred to Court and Records Management Systems - eliminating redundant, manual data entry. The web application can be securely accessed by Court or Public Safety personnel from any PC with an internet/network connection.

Ticket writers typically use WiFi, Bluetooth and/or cellular data connections. digiTICKET supports any Windows Mobile handheld or Windows XP/7 laptop/MDC or tablet.

SCANNING AND DATA CAPTUREdigiTICKET uses barcode scanners and magnetic strip readers to read driver licenses, ID cards and vehicle registration documents from all over the United States.

RUGGED THERMAL PRINTERSdigiTICKET citations are printed on high-grade paper using any type of printer; typically a rugged Bluetooth thermal printer. Tickets are customized to the agency’s needs, including having violator instructions pre-printed on the back of the ticket.

NCIC Queries - digiTICKET queries State NCIC message switches for person and vehicle information. Returned data is used to auto-fill ticket fields and alert officers in the event of a warrant or stolen vehicle.

Custom Forms - Create multiple ticket formats, such as federal, district, municipal, parking and code enforcement. Capture State mandated data, such as Racial Profiling information.

Software Integration - Use person or vehicle information from your existing mobile field reporting or mobile CAD applications to populate digiTICKET forms. Easily export PDF copies of tickets, photographs and fingerprints with your ticket data from digiTICKET and import it into your Court and Records Management Systems.

HARDWAREdigiTICKET is deployed on rugged hardware built to withstand exposure to extreme temperatures, water, dust and drops to concrete.
