Tilt Left or Angle Right Position
Valve Section In TILT LEFT Or ANGLE RIGHT(1) Passage from pump. (2) Passage to next valve section. (3) Passage from pump. (4) Valve spool. (5) Passage to tank. (6) Passage from pump. (7) Check valve. (9) Passage to rod end of tilt cylinder or head end of left angle cylinder. (10) Passage to head end of tilt cylinder or head end of right angle cylinder.
Tilt Left Position
When the control lever moves valve spool (4) to the TILT LEFT position, the pump oil in passages (1) and (3) cannot go to passage (2) and to the tank.
When passages (1) and (3) are closed to passage (2) the pump oil gets an increase in pressure. The increase of the oil pressure in passage (6) opens check valve (7) and the oil goes through the check valve to passage (9) to the rod end of the tilt cylinder. The pump oil in the rod end moves the rod into the cylinder which moves the right side of the bulldozer blade up.
The oil from the head end of the tilt cylinder goes through passage (10) and through passage (5) to the filter and tank.
The location of the relief valve for the valve section to tilt the bulldozer is in the inlet section of the control assembly.
Angle Right Position
The oil flow through this valve section, when valve spool (4) is in ANGLE RIGHT position, is the same as the oil flow through the other valve section in TILT LEFT position. The oil flow through passage (9) goes to the head end of the left side cylinder.

The pump oil to the head end moves the rod out and the oil from the rod end of the left side cylinder goes to the rod end of the right side cylinder which moves the rod into the cylinder. The rod of the left side cylinder moves out and the rod on the right side cylinder moves in at the same time. This turns the bulldozer on the angling frame for ANGLE RIGHT. The oil from the head end of the right side cylinder goes through passage (10), through passage (5) and to the filter and tank.
