Advanced Digital Movie Making Institute - teachers to commit one week of training during April break or 5 Saturdays. Limited seats
Selected HS willing to spearhead an afterschool digital movie making club to create videos of historical events. Participating teachers qualify to take the Final Cut exam.
3 days Push in training for teachers and students on creating authentic digital documentaries.
Selected HS classes – classes will create a digital documentary based on historical events.
3 days Pull out training for teachers on how to use implement Digital Movie Making into Social Studies curriculum,
HS Only – Will run from August, 2009
4 Sessions
Tech Squad- 4 – 6 students with a teacher to learn troubleshooting and basic maintenance of computers.
Students and teacher will create a school based tech squad.
