Characters• Delia- She's the main character in the book, she’s in the 8th grade,

tall, nice, and loves to double Dutch. But she’s not really good in school.

• Charlene- Another main character, she also in the 8th grade with Delia, She’s her best friend. Charlene is tall, nice, lets people run over her a lot, not really a good trait to have, she’s also good in school and loves to double Dutch.

• Randy- Delia and Charlene’s good friend. Randy is to and really robust. In the book he works out with the girls at double dutch practice. He also had a little secret of his own. In the 8th grade and has classes with Delia and Charlene.

• Tabu And Titian – The call them the Tolliver Twins. Meaner then ever. They bully everybody in school. They always wear black everything, the girls even think that, there the only cloths they have. Also in the 7th grade but not really smart. They kill animals and carry around knives. There not anything to mess with!

Plot: Conflict

• The main character, Delia, is have a self to self conflict. She loves double dutch more then anything, but her grades doesn’t show that she wants to be on the double butch team. She failed second grade when she was younger and ever since then she hasn’t been the smartest. Hopefully she would learn that work comes first.

Plot: Resolution• At the end, Delia and Charlene are at a double

dutch meet, Delia tells Charlene that she's nervous and doesn’t want to do it because she thinks that she’s going to mess up. Charlene gives her a confident speech telling her that she can do. Then Delia lays down the truth, she tells her everything, how she failed and how she never told anyone that she wasn’t smart. Charlene didn’t mind it at all, she took it as if she wanted to help her out. They went on stage and came out champions.

• My opinion for this book, I enjoyed reading the book. I liked how all the characters had different personalities, and how the author had many different setting, or places in this book. I can read this book and I strongly recommend that you read this book.
