a private villa on a 1.5 hectare plot was designed in tradi-tional style of provinces of central greece. interiors incor-porate ethnic motifs. the project fits into complicated sloping terrain and has provi-sions for the seismic character-istics of the surrounding area.

this challenging design assignment required improvements to an existing unfinished house with a timber extension and a swimming pool.minimalistic interiors leave enough room for residents and their children to fill, creating a habitat of their own.

a modern interior with complex planning solutions and a masculine character, not entirely traditional for russia’s reality.the client ‘dislikes anything that is round’. to supplement this off-the-peg approach, custom woodwork – from furniture to doors – was manufactured.

the interior was made in the pompous classical style typical for moscow’s high-rise stalin-style buildings. this solution was imposed by the architecture of the building with its pylons and structural components.

although this interior differs significantly from all other brunello cuccinelli shops, it was enthusiastically accepted by the maestro himself. for the very first time the world’s best known cashmere brand was put under the intense austerity of snow-white vaults and into the light of empire chandeliers.artificially aged furniture was manufactured after original design sketches.

boutiques designed for the most respectable shoppers of moscow and st.petersburg had to be different from one another but yet to be recognizable by the style of interior and quality of workmanship.
