Each day will feature: Keynote All-day MakerSpace Breakout EDU—A platform for immersive learning games An “unconference” room for “just in time” conversations and sharing Hands-on learning playgrounds for
Google Apps for Education iPad Apps for Learning Minecraft and Game-Based Learning STEM and Robotics
Panel discussions Networking games One-, two-, and three-hour breakout sessions on a variety of innovative learning
strategies & tools
Each participant can build their day around the topics, strategies, and tools that interest them most.
Sign up for 1 or 2 days.
Each day offers different options for learning!
Earn 0.5 semester hour per day.
The goal of Creating Powerful Learning: A Technovation
Institute is to provide educators with tools, ideas, and strate-
gies to create powerful, engaging, authentic learning experi-
ences for students. This special two-day Institute is designed to
meet educators and administrators where they are and move
them forward. Whether you are an experienced technology
integrator/leader, or you are just beginning your journey, you
will find something to meet your needs. Hear from education
thought leaders and fellow classroom teachers sharing best
practices and ideas that work to increase student engagement,
knowledge, and skills.
