DaY 1: (123 miles) Cross the Mackinac Bridge and head west on scenic Route 2. At Palms Book State Park float atop the crystal clear waters of Kitch-iti-Kipi, or Big Spring on an observation raft.
DaY 2 (222 miles) From Palms Books State Park continue west to Lake Gogebic, a perfect base for day trips to Agate Falls and the Porcupine Mountains on the shore of Lake Superior.
