SYSTEMS UPGRADE NEWS We are excited to inform you that the software upgrades included in the 2018 budget are underway and will be live from July 2018. The new systems will work seamlessly to enable the La Côte d’Azur team to better serve its owners and guests.

The main changes that will affect owners directly are those involving IRIS and OPERA:

IRIS Is an intranet-based system to handle all aspects of timeshare resort management, which will include debtors accounts and share transfers. This means that your levy account number will change and your statement will have a slightly different look.

Opera Property Management System has functionality for handling reservations, checking guests in and out, assigning rooms, managing room inventory, accommodating in-house guest needs and performing accounting and billing functions.

In addition, the management accounting system is being changed from QSA to AccPac, and a browser-based management system for dealing with purchases, receiving, and stock management /inventory control has been implemented.

Rentals/Letting Pool You may not be aware that First Resorts provides a rental service for owners who are unable or do not wish to make use of their timeshare week/module. Weeks put into the system will also be visible to online travel agents, which increases the market to which the stock is exposed and the possibility of weeks being let.

From 1 July 2018, if you would like to make use of this facility, please complete and sign the attached Owner Instruction Form and email it to reservations@firstroup-sa.co.za. For your convenience, we are also enclosing the 2018 and 2019 calendars.

Please note that rental is not guaranteed, but every effort will be made to assist you.
