Re: ADDENDUM #2
This addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Bidding Documents dated August 19, 2019 as noted below. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject the Bidder to disqualification.
This Addendum consists of 4 pages and the attachments listed below, all dated September 18, 2019 unless otherwise noted. In modified specifications, new text is indicated by underlining and deleted text is stricken through. In modified drawings, the revisions are bubbled and tagged with a revision tag.
The following are requests for interpretations and clarifications:
QUESTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS:
1. Question: Do all alternate carpets HAVE to be custom or can they be priced in the collections/styles listed on
page 096800-2?”
a. Design Response: Bid the specifications as written.
2. There are two existing floor boxes in what will be the new meeting room 101B. The new electrical drawings
indicated two new floor boxes at a slightly different layout to get them under the meeting table. Can we
confirm these are to be new floor boxes or of they are existing to remain similar to those at column 17/F?
a. Design Response: Refer to the revised electrical drawings (ED101 and E101) for scope of work
associated with the two existing floor boxes in what will be in the new meeting room 101B.
3. Clemson has contracted with Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE) for Chapter 1 and Chapter 17
inspections. SE-962 Statement of Special Inspections is being issued with this addendum. The contracted
inspections by BLE for Chapter 1 and Chapter 17 are as follows:
