St. Jude 34th Annual Garage Sale: Calling all bargain hunters– time is approaching for our annual garage sale to be held Thursday-Friday, June 2-4. As you start your spring cleaning, please set aside any items that we can use. A few of the more popular items to donate are: furniture, collectibles, glassware, linens, kitchen items, pictures, books, jewelry, decorations, toys & small electric appliances. We cannot accept tires, garden hoses, paint, gas cans, luggage, tube type tv’s, microwaves or Christmas trees. All donations should be clean and in good condition. The sale is a major fund raiser for the Altar Society and it takes a lot of people to make it happen. We need help setting up tables, providing food for workers, sorting, pricing, working the sale, cashiering, tearing down and cleaning up. Please consider helping us this year. All funds from the sale support St. Jude Parish. If you have any questions, please call Martha Donohue at 755-2535 or Sue Iniguez at 831-0809. Birthline Training: In April, Birthline will begin a training session for new volunteers. Birthline is open 6 days a week and requires many volunteers to staff all of those hours.
