Explore!Hope College’s

Name Tag!You must have your
name tag for admittance into the Institute and lunch, so please do not lose it or forget it.
What is there to do in Holland? If you are in search
of a good sunset, head out to the Holland State Park, and on your way back stop and get a wonderful ice cream sundae at Captain Sundae!
Any questions? If you have any questions or need some
logistical assistance, see one of the Institute Assistants – Kristi, Megan,
Melissa, or Trevor.
Play mini-golf…You could try Craig's
Cruisers for a round of mini-golf or a ride on the go-carts or the bumper boats.
Books! In Room F, books by keynote
speakers Marilee Sprenger and Martha Kaufeldt will be on sale Wednesday and Thursday only.
Other books on brain research and learning will be on sale in Room F all day Tuesday and Thursday.
Catch a movie! There are two movie theaters in
Holland that are playing the newest films! Look for the Holland 7 or the Star Theater in the local phone book to find out what’s playing.
Personal Communication Devices…
The brain enjoys being able to concentrate without distractions, so we ask everyone to turn off any personal communication devices that might hamper its concentration.
Go see a show! Hope Summer Repertory
Theatre is putting on 2 great performances here at Hope College. They’re performing the 80’s musical Footloose and the classic farce Charley’s Aunt. For more information or to purchase tickets call 616-395-7890. The ticket box is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thought for the day!
If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple,
we couldn’t.
