The mess calledgridlock that goes on in Washington seems to get worse every day. If it wasnt soserious it would be extremely laughable. Im thinking Budweiser might consider headingout there with a bunch of trucks and have a good old fashioned beer party. Ive alwaysthought we seemed to get more things accomplished that way. Also I think we missedout on a pretty significant snow. It should look like Spring around here by the end of theweek. With all these calves dropping around these parts Im damn happy about that.Finally I reflect on this statement, and God said I will make loving and obedient wivesand place them in all corners of the Earth. Then God made the Earth round and helaughed and laughed.
FED CATTLE/WEIGH COWS TUES., FEB. 26TH: The fat cattle trade was a veryho hum affair. Its been very hard to find the real good choice fat cattle. By the end of theweek those fat cattle ended up trading quite a bit higher, finally. The weigh cow trade wasquite a bit higher. We did have some awfully nice strings. If you had a good cow with agood weigh up youd sure fetch $80 or more. Also I really encourage you to considertrading bulls. If you have that 4-6 yr old he could fetch $2000-$2300. It seems with allthese top quality bull sales weve got coming up it is a great time to trade.
