Black Pomegranate is a Luxury hand poured Soy wax candle with a relaxing scent which opens with
zesty citrus notes mixed with cardamom, frankincense and pink pepper spiced up with a spicy mistletoe
accord. This leads to a hearty base of warm fruity notes of ambery and a hint of clove, casablanca lily
and patchouli. In 2015 these scented candles are most seller scented candles in UK.

Candles are not only for winter but also for all time—that
little flame provides more ambience than actual warmth,
and the soul-cheering flicker is something I could use all-
year-round. During the warmer months, they can also do
double duty as hostess gifts (trust me, they will be well-
received). To leave a good impression, always opt for a
candle that you‘d still display unlit.
From sculptural shapes to $325 gazebo holders, these
options combine beautiful packaging with even prettier
scents. Best scented candles 2015
1. Le Feu Violet Candle
Jo Strettell and Wendy Polish are the creators of the
indisputably cool candles from Le Feu de L‘eau. Each has
a slightly different design, but they all share the same
fluid shape.
―My father was making sand candles in 1968 near a
swimming pool,‖ explains Polish when I ask where she
got the inspiration, ―When the wax overflowed into the
pool, he was inspired by the different shapes the wax
formed because of the water. Ever since this incident, he
has been refining the process and has learned how to
control the wax underwater. We were compelled to create
a brand around this process because it is so unique.‖
For summer, try Le Feu Violet, a delicate blend of
grapefruit over smoky tobacco that lingers subtly in the
air. The iridescent, purple wax shell draws
inspiration from sources including Elizabeth Taylor‘s
gaze and a dreamy Tim Walker photograph. ―We always
begin with the color,‖ says Polish, ―Then we create mood
boards. We pull from fashion, nature, art and film. We
start to see the color take on a certain personality.‖
I‘m unsure as to what the personality of Le Feu Violet is,
but my guess would be something along the lines of
irresistible.
2.Hesperides Grapefruit and Sugar Lemon Candles, $55
Fresh is well-loved for their signature Sugar Lemon
fragrance, which scents everything from their popular lip
treatment to their soap. For the ultimate fan, the clear
choice is the candle, which has a strong enough throw to
scent at least two rooms with the impression of sugar-
sprinkled lemons. The actual list of notes is much longer,
and includes Italian lemon, yuzu, mandarin, lychee
flower, orange blossom, ginger flower, oak moss, caramel
and white santal. But the scent is, as they say, sugar and
lemons.
Just a touch sweeter is Hesperides Grapefruit, the newest
addition to their candle line. It gets its more mellow scent
profile from florals like bergamot, lotus flower and
jasmine. ―I wanted to pair pink grapefruit with a medley
of my favorites that has depth, but still maintains the
classic, clean essence of a citrus that is so completely
addictive,‖ says Fresh cofounder Lev Glazman.
My apartment smelled of sweet citrus long after I blew
out the candles (they say 50 hours, which I was pleased
to discover is an accurate assessment). The pale blue
glass isn‘t quite as eye-catching as Le Feu de L‘eau‘s
freeform wax, but it‘s pretty and unobtrusive—and has a
nice, substantial weight to it, if you‘re planning to gift
one.
3.Coast and Grow Candles, $45 each from R. Nichols
Nick Hanzlik‘s illustrations provide instant cheer,
especially when they‘re stamped around a scented
candle. Just ask Gary McNatton, the fragrance arm of the
R. Nichols candles.
―It was the holiday season, and I was feeling the
December stress,‖ he recalls, ―I walk into a shop and I see
Nick‘s cards at the counter—and I instantly smile. I said
to myself at that moment, ‗That‘s exactly what fragrance
should do, make you smile.‘ So I called Nick, and told
him my reaction—and that I should do a fragrance line
for him.‖
Their partnership resulted in a collection of
unconventional scents. There‘s Coast, inspired by the
first time McNatton drove through the Presidio Park in
San Franciso. The winding road took him through a
eucalyptus forest on the way to the Golden Gate Bridge,
and in that moment he had the notes for a new candle. ―I
rolled down the windows, and there was this amazing
scent of eucalyptus, salt air and Marin Headlands sage,‖
he says. The captured memory in scent is sweet and
fresh, as if you were along on the same trip.
My favorite scent, though, is Grow, meant to evoke the
moment you pluck a ripe red tomato from the garden.
Admittedly, I‘ve never had this experience, but the scent
does a pretty stellar job recreating it. It‘s the tang and
lushness of sun on fruit and green vines—―the true scent
of summer,‖ says McNatton.
4.Balsam Gazebo Candle, $325 from Agraria
The tiniest gazebo I‘ve ever seen also happens to be a
massive candle. ―We liked the idea of a round glass
inserted into a hexagon that had the hexagon-woven,
cane-pattern inserts,‖ explains Agraria President Jim
Gentry, ―Seeing the glow of the flame and the pattern the
cane creates was essential.‖
Each gazebo holder is custom-built by a furniture maker,
who brings out the patina in the alder wood. And when
you‘re down to the last vestiges of wax, you can use the
decorative case to house a flower arrangement or potted
plant—so you can keep it around long after you‘ve used it
up.
As for the scent, it‘s a vibrant marriage of sweet Balsam,
California Redwood, French sage and white florals.
―Balsam was created in 1970 as a companion to our
handmade Bitter Orange Potpourri,‖ Gentry tells me, ―By
combining the spicy citrus of the bitter orange with the
sweet, woody notes of the balsam, an even more unique
fragrance was created. To us, it brings to mind a cozy fire
burning on a winter night and the fresh scent of walking
through the Sierra Nevada Mountains on a warm
summer day.‖

14. Zara Home Lily and Ginger: From £9.99, You might think that a floral candle would be a bit insipid for this time of year, but a hefty dose of rich ginger makes this anything but. Instead it packs a decadent punch, with far more richness than you would expect for this price. A real winner.
