About Myself & My Students

I am an English teacher from a junior school.

I have been teaching English since I graduated from university about 5 years ago. Although this is not a satisfied job, I love it and I love the time with my students.

My students are about 12-15 years old. Most of their parents are too busy to spend time with them, and this becomes to the reason that they can’t study well and get good grades in school.

About English Teaching

First, English is a main subject in Chinese schools.

Second, English is an international language. It can help people from different country to communicate with each other. When people can understand each others better, the world might be more peaceful.

Third, I think English is a beautiful language.

About My Problems

1. It’s difficult for me to make every class interesting.

2. All of my students study English for tests, not for using this language.

3. Students don’t like memorizing words and passages.

I want to improve myself.

1. I’m going to practice my pronunciation by imitate a piece of short news everyday.

2. Read more books about English teaching.

3. Communicate with others about our class or work in groups.

About American Education

I don’t know too much about American education, but I do know that America is also famous for its education in the world.
