INTRODUCTION Zagreb is the Croatian capital, an important commercial crossroads in many ways completely different from the Croatian coast. The city developed as an important fair centre at the gate of the Croatian Panonian plain, the largest fertile area in central Europe. A wealthy noble class and their lush castles, scattered around the capital, thus emerged. Zagreb’s architecture and traditions witness the Austrian rule from the 16th century when northern Croatia voluntarily submitted to the Habsburgs. The region is renowned in Europe for thermal waters which attracted the European elite in the winter period. Zagreb abounds in lounge clubs, microbreweries, high-quality restaurants and museums including the Croatian Museum of Naive Art and several hotels at the cutting edge of technology for business trips and incentives. This green city is located at the foot of Sljeme hill. The region and its colourful traditions were inspirational for many naive artists. Above all, Zagreb is a city permanently animated by popular gastronomic and artistic events, shows, concerts and full of small places and surprises to discover! The International hotel is located on the edge of the historic area, 10-15 minutes on foot from the

city centre or 5 minutes by car. This modern glass building has 207 rooms divided in 3 categories:

classic, superior and luxury. It has more than 700 m2 of conference space divided into 4 rooms. The

hotel features a fitness area, sauna and a casino.

PROGRAM

Day 1 : Arrival in Zagreb – Rimac workshop visit – typical dinner in a micro-brewery

Welcome at Zagreb airport by an English-speaking tour guide.

Transfer by bus to the hotel. Travel time: 30min

Welcome drinks at the hotel (glass of Croatian sparkling

wine) with savory snacks. Fast check-in at a separate desk

during the welcome drink and distribution of city maps.

Meanwhile, luggage is delivered to the rooms.

Time at leisure.

Unique optional activity: Visit the handcrafted luxury electric car factory Rimac - the electric engine

with the highest acceleration in the world!

Bus transfer to the town of Sveta Nedelja.

Presentation of the factory and workshop, visit the production line for custom-made cars.

Return to the hotel.

Bus transfer to the main square ban Jelačić, short 5 minute stroll to the Medvedgrad micro-brewery.

Dinner in one of Zagreb's most renowned micro-breweries, known for the quality of its 7 house beers.

You will discover typical local atmosphere and the typical

Croatian cuisine.

The meal reveals unique „under the bell“ cuisine: veal, lamb and potatoes are put on a metal platter, on a bed of embers and covered with a metal bell-shaped lid. The meal is cooked for 3 hours in the stew. Food becomes crisp on the surface but melts on the inside.

Day 2: Teambuilding day with discovery of Zagreb, fun sport activities, gourmet dinner

Breakfast.

09:00 a.m. Bus transfer with your tour guide to the main square, trg bana Jelačića.

Option 1: Walking tour with a local guide

09:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. City tour with local guide, including entrances to the

cathedral and the Croatian Museum of Native Art

You will discover the two hills that mark the history of the Croatian capital

and the green market - the Bishop's Hill Kaptol and the Lords' Hill Gradec or

Grič, where the Croatian government and Parliament are still located today.

Option 2: Image hunt in Zagreb

09:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m Briefing and splitting into teams This teambuilding option is designed to introduce Zagreb in an original and fun way. The participants are divided into 6 groups of 5 people. Each group receives a file of the paths to be completed in order. Each stage is part of a mystical and mysterious puzzle; the group must discover the clue in order to proceed to the next phase. One of the group members is designated as a photographer and must photograph his group with his personal camera at each stage. The stages correspond to the most famous landmarks of the old town of Zagreb and reveal its history. Groups have limited time. At the end, the winner is the group that has completed its goals the quickest or has completed the highest number of goals in order, based on photos and written responses. Time at leisure. 12:30 p.m. Lunch in the Kaptolska Klet restaurant, located opposite of the cathedral.

Main dish: duck with mlinci (traditional local pasta) Seasonal salad

Option 1: Šervud park in the Jastrebarsko forest

Transfer to Šervud park in the Jastrebarsko forest at the western

part of Zagreb.

Travel time: 45min

Six teams will compete in the following 4 activities:

Tactical laser tag: 2 teams compete with laser guns. Transmitters cover the bodies of participants signaling when a person is “shot” by the opponent’s laser. Participants also receive a protective suit, but there is no impact. Possibility to have WWII army costumes at an additional cost.

Archery: 1 team

Air rifle precision shooting: 1 team

Zip line: members of the shooting teams who are not currently involved in a game. Table soccer: 2 teams compete in a full-scale table soccer game.

Players have their hands tied to the rails.

Duration: 3h

Coffe break (serving water, coffe, tea or juice) during the activities.

All the activities are supervised by instructors and participants will

get all the necessary safety equipment.

Option 2: Indoor bubble soccer

Bus transfer to Velesajam halls.

Travel time: 15min

Teams compete two against two in 10-minute match in a

large room prepared for the event.

The tournament ends with the finals. Duration: 3h

Each team plays two 10-minute matches. There are 10 players for each game, 5 from each team. Each match is for one half of the team, the other half plays the second match.

Coffee break (serving water, coffe, tea or juice) during the tournament.

The games are supervised by instructors.

Bus transfer to the upper part of city centre named Grič harbouring numerous patrician palaces and

the Croatian governement.

Dinner in the restaurant Didov San displaying the ambiance of old houses of the city centre and typical Zagreb cuisine.

Starter: uštipci and soparnik (pastry with fresh cheese or

vegetables)

Main dish: octopus under-the-bell with grilled potatoes and

squid with Swiss chard salad.

Choice of desserts

Beverage package (1/2l of wine + 1/2l of water + coffee or

tea)

Option: Local musicians (trio) performing traditional music (accordion, guitar, mandolin). Transfer to the hotel by bus or on own for those who wish to enjoy Zagreb's nightlife.

Day 3: Discover Zagreb region and departure from Zagreb airport

Breakfast.

Option: Discover Zagreb region and the Kezele estate

Bus transfer with a tour guide to the village Ivaničko Graberje. Travel time: 45min

Kezele guesthouse is a farm and an ethnographic house illustrating the traditional building style of the

Croatian countryside. Visit the estate, the cellar and wine tasting.
