Calella, just 50 km. from Barcelona and very close to the Montnegre nature park, is a prime tourist destination with three magnificent beaches that have deserved the blue flag, SICTED and the Q for tourist quality award for the Garbí beach. It also has an excellent commercial offer with over 800 shops and more than 70 restaurants. The accommodation offers 14.000 places in hotels, campings and apartments, making this one of the most important tourist destinations in the country.

A sea of water sports.The proximity of the sea and the existence of a nautical base - Calella Sailing Club - enable the practice of sai-ling, water skiing, canoeing, rod and underwater fishing, as well as windsurfing. Also, just a few minutes from the town, there are several sports ports that provide moorings for all kinds of embarcations.
Golf.Just a few kilometres away, there is one of the best golf courses in Europe, and a “Pitch&Putt” course for thepractice of this sport all year round.

Codina i Bagué municipal archive museum has di-fferent exhibitions and collections of decorative tiles from the 17th tothe20thcenturiy;textilemachineryandknitwearfromCalella;archaeological finds from excavations in the Roman town and his-torical documentation. One different, and curious element is the Barri pharmacy, with all ofitsequipmentfromthe19thcenturyandtheLluísGallartGarcíagallerywithasampleofover200drawingsandpaintingsofex-ceptional beauty by this local artist. You can also visit the Cultural Gallery where the history of Calella is reflected by a multi-thematic show in several sections. Collections of ancient tools, paintings, photographs and other objects related in one way or another to the town of Calella can also be seen.

The town of Calella has natural areas of great wealth, where you can admire the Mediterranean flora and fauna. The ideal counterpoint for combining a beach holiday with peaceful, na-tural surroundings.In Calella there are varies nature and urban walking routes, which will familiarise you with the town and its immediate outs-kirts and also with its nature areas. One can also practice the modalityofNordicWaking.
Dalmau Park. The ideal place for taking long strolls. The multi-coloured flowers and avenue of trees are in harmony in this shaded park in the town centre.
Les Torretes.Aftera30minutewalk,wecometo“LesTo-rretes”, two 19th century communication towers offering a magnificent viewpoint of the Mediterranean and the forests of Calella.FromherewecanarriveattheMontnegrenaturepark,atjust6kilometresfromthe“Torretes”.
Paseo Manuel Puigvert. Designed by the modernist archi-tect Jeroni Martorell, this promenade is ideal for strolling and for resting in the peacefull shade of the centenary trees.

Promenade Manuel Puigvert. Conçu par l’architecte mo-derniste Jeroni Martorell, cet espace est idéal pour réaliser des promenades et se repose tranquillement, à l’ombre des plata-nes centenaires.
