Finishing the Race—Imagine More Halftime Devotional—July will mark the halfway point for our Imagine More Campaign. We are developing a 30 day devotional journal which begins on June 15th; and want you to join us in the daily devotional readings. Members, Ministers, and Leaders are invited to submit devotions for inclusion in the journal. Submissions should include: 1) Title, 2) Scripture Refer-ence, 3) 2-3 paragraphs (300 words MAX) which challenges the con-gregation to continue trusting God, reflect on what God has done, and/or echo the vision the Lord has given us to build and rebuild lives. 4) Electronic submissions should be sent to Minister Linda Johnson for consideration at [email protected]. 5) All submissions should be submitted by June 8th.

Share Your Ministry’s Support—In the fall, we will celebrate A Vision Realized with the opening and dedication of our NEW House of Worship in Woodlawn. To celebrate this milestone, we are cre-ating A Commemorative Souvenir Journal which will be distributed to members of the Church and community who will join us for our Grand Opening Celebration Weekend. The Journal will include histor-ical reflections, ministry milestones and messages of support. We want to invite our Church Ministries include a note of celebration, congratulations, or promotion in what we feel will become a cher-ished memento in the rich history of the Morning Star Baptist Church. Ministry ad prices are:

Full Page 8.5 x 11 $400.00 Half Page 8.5 x 5.5 $200.00

This pricing is below costs for external ads and simply covers the cost of the pages production. This is your opportunity to express your ministry’s commitment to IMAGINING MORE and BUILDING AND RE-BUILDING LIVES. Please submit print-ready artwork electronically in PDF, JPEG or TIFF format. The Journal will be full-color. The Office of Marketing can also support some limited ad design. Submissions should be received on or before August 21st at one of the follow-ing [email protected] or [email protected].

On behalf of our Bishop, our Leading Lady, Dr. Carla Debnam and the Church’s overall leadership and membership, thank you for your con-tinued prayers and support as we continue toward A Vision Real-ized. Should you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Brown or Deaconess Spruill at (410) 747-3417. Be blessed!
