Silver Tracheostomy Tubes

FreeVent Silver long term/permanent tracheostomy tubes are designed to provide the user with a safe, durable and comfortable tube that is easy to handle.

FreeVent Silver tubes come in a wide variety of sizes and lengths, as well as with or without fenestration, speaking valves etc.

All tubes are made of 100% sterling silver. Silver has an antibacterial effect and a long lifetime.

FreeVent has an unique HME-connector that fits Provox® HME Cassette. A low profile fitting on the FreeVent tube enables the user to comfortably wear tracheostomy HME and protectors.

The conical shape makes it much easier to insert and center the distal tip in the middle of trachea. The tubes have an anatomically correct shape for better fitting and comfort.

FreeVent tubes can be customized in order to fit any patient. Special versions, like the “lobster tail”, and spare parts are also available.

Silver Flexible “lobster tail”

FreeVent Silver Rigid/Flexible Lobster Tail Tracheostomy Set consists of:1 outer tube with flexible tail 1 plain inner cannula with flexible tail

The “lobster tail” tracheostomy tube is a special tube with a flexible end. The rigid/flexible version (F1694) has a standard 65 mm flexible tail. It can be ordered in different lengths, with or without inner cannula with different connectors etc. If you choose the flexible version F1696, the first 15 mm is rigid, the remaining part is flexible.
