www.ttskyline.com June 2012, TradeTec Skyline Exhibit Studio assembled a Press Conference for Siemens Drive Technologies featuring the up and coming Atlanta Streetcar Project. Siemens Drive Technologies, located in Alpharetta, GA, had the privilege of hosting the Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed, Monday, June 18th for a Press Conference covering the innovative Atlanta Streetcar Project, where Siemens inverter and APS systems make up the propulsion system that will power the Streetcars. The press conference included nearly 350 guests in attendance. Participants representing the city of Atlanta came from: MARTA, Central Atlanta Progress, Atlanta Downtown Improvement District and the Federal Transit Administration. All present to hear the Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed, FTA Regional Administrator, Dr. Yvette Taylor and Siemens Drive Technologies President, Doug Keith, discuss the new streetcar project for Atlanta and the importance of the economic development and impact it will have for the entire city. Major local media covered the press conference and guests got to see firsthand the inverter designed by Siemens that will drive the future in transportation and power the Atlanta Streetcars. Siemens turned to TradeTec Skyline with only a two week advance to help pull together a press conference at the Siemens - highlighting the new Atlanta Streetcar project. TradeTec was responsible for the event logistics of the press conference, which included seating, graphics, decor, registration, wait staff, catered hospitality for guests, along with risers and podium for the key note speakers. “When Siemens approached us for help, we were instantly up for the challenge. ATLANTA STREET CAR PROJECT

The Atlanta Streetcar project is a cooperative effort to bring in local transportation that will connect the metro area and the greater region of Atlanta.
