Training Partners expands its cloud learning portfolio with new credential as a Citrix Authorised Learning Centre

Singapore, 21 February 2012 – Citrix Systems Inc, a company providing application, desktop,

client and server virtualisation solutions has appointed Training Partners as a Citrix Authorised

Learning Centre (CALC). As a CACL, Training Partners will be able to offer Citrix certified

training programs including Virtual Desktop Interface, as well as to complement and integrate

Citrix’s existing cloud training programmes with Cisco and VMware.

“The addition of the Citrix learning programmes in our portfolio brings us closer in achieving our

vision of offering the most comprehensive cloud learning solutions, as part of our cloud

enablement strategy,” said Esther Wong, General Manager, Training Partners.

computing, and there is an acute shortage of skilled individuals who can support such cloud

operation and implementation. Training Partners is well-placed to address this concern with our

As the first region wide CACL in Asia Pacific, Training Partners have access to highly qualified

Citrix Certified Instructors (CCIs) and provide Citrix authorized courseware and software.

Training Partners will be a one stop training centre for Citrix’s clients and partners, equipping

them with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage their virtualised environments. The

Citrix classes are scheduled to commence in April 2012 throughout the Training Partner’s

centres in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Taiwan and

India.

Citrix Certification Program offers three levels of certifications based on job roles – Administrator,

Engineer and Architect series. The administrator-level Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator is

a step up from the Citrix Certified Administrator, offering more in-depth training in product

specialisation. The advanced, engineer-level Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer and architect-

level Citrix Certified Integration Architect will help develop skills required to deliver end-to-end

virtual computing from data center to the desktop.

Training Partners will be delivering a comprehensive range of authorized courses related to

these certifications such as Citrix XenDesktop 5 Administration, Implementing Citrix XenApp 5.0

for Windows Server 2008 and Citrix XenApp 6.5 Administration and XenServer 6.0
