What if the church of Arusha was:What if the church of Arusha was:• Providing a local congregation within walking
distance of every person,• Meeting the physical, spiritual and social needs
of the community, and• Functioning intentionally from the biblical
worldview, bringing truth to all areas of community life: the family, business, politics, justice, arts, education, communication, science and technology, the environment and agriculture.
Picture a place where such congregations discipled all who responded to the Gospel to obey
everything that Christ commanded.
Consider a place where Christ is Consider a place where Christ is working through His Church, in working through His Church, in
such a way that He:such a way that He:
•Heals the community’s deepest wounds,•Redeems their cultures,•Restores their God-given dignity, and•Gives them a hope and a destiny.
Dream of a place where Christ is Dream of a place where Christ is Lord of life; where there is:Lord of life; where there is:
• Individual righteousness• Economic sufficiency for all,• Lasting social peace, and• Justice – even for the poorest of
the poor.
