Carmella FrancoDr. Carmella S. Franco is a former superintendent in the Whittier City School District, interim superintendent in Woodland Joint Unified School District, Compton Unified School District, and State Trustee in Salinas. She currently is director of ACSA’s Superintendents Academy, Whittier, and is also a regional search consultant for Ray and Associates, Inc.

Darlene RoblesDr. Darlene P. Robles is currently a professor at the University of Southern California. She was former superintendent in the Los Angeles County Office of Education, Salt Lake City School District, and Montebello Unified School District. Dr. Robles is an associate for the search firm, Hazard, Young & Attea.

Maria OttDr. Maria Ott is currently a professor at the University of Southern California. She was former superintendent of Rowland Unified School District, Little City School District, and senior deputy for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Dr. Ott is an associate for the search firm, Hazard, Young & Attea.

Assembly Member Dr. Shirley WeberAssembly Member Shirley Nash Weber was elected in November of 2012 to represent California’s 79th Assembly District, which includes the cities of Chula Vista, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, National City and San Diego. Weber Chairs the Assembly Committee on Budget, Assembly Select Committee on Higher Education in San Diego County; and the Assembly Select Committee on Campus Climate. She also serves on the Assembly committees on Education,

Higher Education and Appropriations.

Julie AdamsJulie Adams, founder of Adams Educational Consulting (AEC), is an international educational consultant providing engaging and effective training and coaching to both public and private K-12 schools in the following areas: critical thinking, neuroscience, digital literacy, instructional leadership, content area literacy, and writing. Julie, a Nationally Board
