supporting the process requirements, executing Workday system testing, parallel
payroll testing, and preparing the operating procedures for the ongoing delivery team.
Payroll volumes first 6 months after go-live: 318k US payments processed; $2.38B in
earnings; $404M in tax deposits.
Aon Hewitt, Thomson Reuters and Workday were awarded the 2014 North American
Program of the Year Award by the HRO Services and Technology Association. A
successful and massive Workday implementation that involved over 60,000
employees and managers in 100 countries going live on the same day.
Transitioning the US service operations from PeopleSoft to Workday
Long-time Aon Hewitt Benefits and HR Services client opted to migrate from PeopleSoft to deploy Workday for Core HR, Payroll,
and Time. Growth via a significant acquisition left them with two distinct HR solutions for each legacy business. The global
organization opted for a solution for their US population, and will maintain a distributed in-country solution for the rest-of-world.
Total HR transformation began in 2011 in an effort to create an HR model that would flourish in a global environment. The idea was
to give managers the confidence and tools to see themselves as global managers in a global setting.
