Multimodal policy analysis, transportation planning studies, transportation funding, transit and

paratransit performance evaluation, competitive contracting, advanced transportation

1984: Consultant to the Southern California Rapid Transit District for Olympic Planning

Developed and managed advanced reservation system for dedicated Park & Ride service to

Olympic venues.

1982-1984: Transportation Manager, Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee

Planned transportation services for athletes, officials, press and Olympic Family. Developed

comprehensive, multimodal venue site plans to accommodate multiple bus systems as well as

cars and taxis. Managed parking operations for 1983 practice events.

1975-1980: Senior Transportation Analyst, Southern California Rapid Transit District

Created the District's major statistical publication; conducted new service evaluations; had

primary responsibility for compliance with state and federal reporting requirements for

performance data; and developed new methods of collecting and analyzing data for management

decision-making.

Description of the Firm

Patti Post & Associates (PP&A), founded in 1984, provides an extensive range of transportation

planning services to public and private sector clients. The firm is deeply committed to our clients

needs for responsive, timely and cost-effective projects. PP&A provides consulting services in

transit, paratransit, shuttle, and rail feeder service planning and evaluation. The firm also assists

clients with regional and subregional transportation planning, identifying funding sources,

advanced transportation technology needs, grant applications, performance evaluation and

competitive contracting for transit and paratransit services.
