COURSE PRESENTATIONIn the current context called VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity), humanand social capital is a competitive advantage for the sustainable development of organizations,in general, and for health, in particular. One of the emerging strategies is the development of highperformance work systems considering several dimensions, among them, the well-beingof professionals. It is within this framework that this advanced training is developedfor professionals who exercise leadership functions in the health area.

This course addresses the organizational factors that characterize high performance health services. After discussing what can be seen as high-performance of health care organizations, di�erent explanations for performance di�erences are presented. Among these explanations,four are highlighted: those coming from the idea of high performance work systems; the relationalcoordination; the safety climate and organizational reliability; management of professionals’ wellbeing and burnout. It ends with an integrative perspective in which we come up with strategies aimed at promoting performance by activating di�erent variables in di�erent contexts.

INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS IN PRICEThe price published for each course includes teaching fees, space rental, certi�cate of attendance, and materials used during the course. The price of the course doesn’t include hotel accommodation, lunches, and dinners on course days, nor any other items unless speci�cally mentioned. Prices of courses published by AHED are exempted of VAT. Other items priced by AHED apart from courses may however include VAT.

APPLICATION, ADMISSION AND REGISTRATIONWhen applying for a course at AHED – Advanced Health Education, the applicant subjects personal and professional data that will be veri�ed and assessed to check that admission criteria for that speci�c program are met. Once an application is approved, registration in the course is admitted and will require payment of the price published for the course.

APPLICATION FEES Application fees are as follows:

- 100 € for courses priced above 1000 €- 50 € for courses priced below equal to 1000 €Application fees are non-refundable.

COURSE REGISTRATION FEESCourse Price: 295€ due to Janssen Educational Grant.50% discount on the course fee for individual participants.Limited to 8 registrations (first in first served criteria).

The registration stage is considered completed when the total price of the course is received by AHED.

PAYMENT OPTIONS Payment options for application and registration include credit card (Visa, MasterCard), wire transfer in Euro, and Multibanco.

EARLY BIRDApplication fees will be discounted from the course price for registrations completed 90 calendar days before the date of the course.
