Life can be overwhelming. We get busy, hurried, worried and consumed with the urgent andimmediate happenings all around us. Kids needs, schooling, problems at work, the economy, healthconcerns, or any number of uncontrollablecircumstances are daily assaulting us and shoutingfor our attention. But as a follower of Christ, I amnot to focus on the daily, changing circumstancesall around me. I am to fix my eyes on Jesus. I love
that old hymn, Turn your eyes upon Jesus; look fullin His wonderful face, and the things of earth willgrow strangely dim in the light of His glory andgrace. God showed this to me in a powerful way afew weeks ago during a prayer time for ourmissionaries at CI House of Prayer. They send intheir requests from all over the world and we

Nursing School, Ballet, etcI dont know how many ofyou know this, but Davidhas been on the track tostart nursing school in the
fall. He has done most ofthe non-core nursingclasses, taken the entranceexam, on which he scoredin the 98
thpercentile(!!), and
turned in all of hispaperwork. Now we are justwaiting for the final wordwhich we should receive inearly April. We are proud ofhis hard work so far andknow that he will do a greatob in school and as a
nurse. We know this will bea bit of a difficult seasonahead as he will still beworking full-time and we will
worship our great God and lift up their needs to His listening ear. But some of them areheavy, heart-breaking, frustrating or seemingly impossible. It can sometimes be easy to getfocused on the need or situation instead of God Himself. This day the songs were mostlyfocused on God, on His throne, His power, and His worthiness of all worship! As we beganto pray, the Holy Spirit helped me to see that as we kneel at His feet in worship, we are ableto see clearly the people and circumstances in our lives. We first sit, kneel, humble
ourselves at His glorious feet, abiding in the shadow of the Almighty, and then we can reallysee! It is in the posture of worship and recognition of Gods goodness, power, and glory(and so much more!!) that all the other things pulling on my attention, feeling so heavy anddifficult, come into the right perspective. God, who is never-changing, becomes magnifiedand the circumstances, that come and go, become the periphery. And life becomes moreabout Him and His ability and less about me and mine.
still be involved in the Houseof Prayer as much aspossible. However, we feelconfident that this is Gods
leading and, therefore, knowthat He has abundant gracefor each of us! We do thankthose who pray for us!I continue to homeschool the
children, take part in severalworship/prayer times at theHOP and teach in the jail. Iam glad to be part of thisministry and really feel Godteaching me and using me forHis glory! I sense Hisanointing to tell the good
news each month that Iteach! Rachel has quit balletfor now and is in search of adifferent way to invest her

Major Changes!
Grandma,
You made it! You finished your race, youre finally
home!
I only wish I could have been there to witness your
homecoming. I'm sure words would fail to convey the
wonder and joy of it.
The face that you've longed to see for so many
years is NO LONGER VEILED! What joy is yours now,
faithful servant, as you join with the throng, casting
your crown and worshiping Him. Your faith has been
rewarded and it was well worth it. No more pain. No
more death. Forevermore you have been healed!
Thank you for blazing the trail of faith for our
family. By His grace I am following after you as I
follow Him. And one day He will call me home as
well. Until that day may I, too, be faithful.

know its wonders untilsomething goes awry. He ishappy and healthy now, butblood and shots havebecome part of hiseveryday routine. Thishasnt been an easyadjustment, but God haslavished His grace upon us,as He does for eachchallenge or responsibility. You can read the full storyabout his sickness,
