• We all prefer victory over defeat

• The Devil wants to defeat us…

– He does not want us to win the race (1 Cor. 9:25)

– He does not want us to win the battle (1 Tim. 6:12)

– But, “in Christ” we can triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)

Triumph in Christ

• We triumph because Christ himself is triumphant (Col. 2:15)

• We must follow God “who always leadeth us” in order to triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)

• We must be “in Christ” in order to triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)
