J.Barnsley pneumatic hoists have safe working loads ranging from 250kg to 50 tonne and con-form with the EC Machinery Directive and the European Standard for hoists BS EN 14492-2.

The TCR, TCS and TNC series of pneumatic hoists offers a comprehensive range of hoists suited to all types of industrial and marine environments. For use in areas where there is a risk of explosion due to flammable gases or dust, we can offer a range of ATEX classifications to suit your requirements.

As standard, our hoists are able to work within a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C, with some slight modifications we can make the hoists suitable to be used at -20°C.

PNEUMATICOur pneumatic rack and pinion trolleys have been

developed with high efficiency gearboxes with a rack and pinion drive mechanism to drive the trolley and hold in the required position for use on vessels or floating installations. We can supply trolleys with capacities from 500 kg to 25 tonne to suit various beam and rack modules for monorail trolley hoists and overhead travelling cranes.

The trolleys can either be geared or air driven with operating speeds to match our standard trolleys and can be fitted on to our low headroom, ultra-low headroom or BOP trolleys.

J.Barnsley Cranes has been supplying the SH Wire Rope Hoist Model into the Oil & Gas, Phar-maceutical, Chemical, Nuclear and Automotive Industries for over 25 years. The SH wire rope hoist programme has been the embodiment of perfection in lifting and crane technology all over the world for many years.

As a market leader in the explosion proof crane industry we appreciate the modular system based on field proven, low maintenance components.

Series manufacture of the standard components means economic advantages for the client. This combined with precise manufacture of off-standard components makes the SH wire rope hoist a widely acknowledged top quality product.

The SH Monorail series is available for the load capacity range 500-25000 Kg in five frame sizes with 26 load capacity variants.

Various off-standard designs are available for use in particular conditions. IP66 protection for ex-ample is required for outdoor use when the hoist can be exposed to the harsh environment. Space heaters can be added if there is a danger of formation of condensation or in arctic temperatures.
