morning and should continue to do so though reflect a positive anomaly through tonight.
SE LA Coast: Tide levels will begin to recede slowly overnight.
Lake Pontchartrain/Maurepas: Tides 5 to 8 feet to remain at these elevated levels before receding slowly later today. Positive anomaly tide levels will continue into the weekend.
MS Coast: Tide levels were receding this morning and should continue to do so though reflect a positive anomaly through tonight.
SE LA Coast: Tide levels will begin to recede slowly overnight.
Lake Pontchartrain/Maurepas: Tides 5 to 8 feet to remain at these elevated levels before receding slowly later today. Positive anomaly tide levels will continue into the weekend.

• Affects of Isaac will diminish throughout the day.
• Storm tides will fall steadily through this morning on the open coast and remain elevated in Lakes Pontchartrain and Maurepas before beginning to recede slowly later today.
• Excessive rainfall has taken place, with additional heavy rainfall expected at times under spiral bands today.
• Preliminary event rainfall accumulations will be provided with the 10 am briefing package.
