I wish to state that the Tadipatri Municipality is a fastest growing City in

Ananthapuramu District as well as in Andhra Pradesh State. The City has a Historic

Recognition from 15th Century of King Sri Krishna Devaraya Era. The present population

of the City is more than 1,20,000 and important business area in Ananthapuramu

Revenue Division.

We are proud to say that the Municipal Council, Tadipatri has approved the Annual

Budget of Tadipatri Municipality for the year 2016-2017 for providing basic civic

amenities and giving utmost importance to the development of all notified slums in a

saturation mode. The total out lay of the Budget is Rs. 62.00 Crores and approved in

council vide C.R.No.105, Dated.16-11-2015.

Complete ban on usage of Plastic Carry Bags is being implemented in Tadipatri City

for the last 10 years under the close monitoring and effective supervision of the then

Municipal Chairperson and present Hon’ble MLA Sri J.C. Prabhakara Reddy Garu,

Tadipatri. Similarly, the Municipal Council, Tadipatri under the chairmanship of

Smt B. Venkata Lakshmi has passed a Resolution by imposing penalties on Open

Defecation so as to create environmental and friendly atmosphere and also making the

Town health & hygiene in the Andhra Pradesh. Tadipatri City is already declared as DUST

BIN FREE CITY.

We are also proud to state that nearly 60,000 trees are planted and survived during

the year 2015-16 to control the pollution and also to control the weather conditions.

Under Swachh Bharat Programme nearly 1600 Toilets are completed so far. In respect of

providing of basic needs like formation of new roads, pipelines, street lighting and new

drains in the city nearly Rs. 2.30 crores are utilized in the present financial year.

CURRENT EVENT:

3rd round of Janma Bhoomi –

Maa Vooru Programme has been

successfully completed in all 34 wards

of Tadipatri Municipality from

02-01-2016 to 11-01-2016. During the

Programme Smart Ward concept was

enlightened to the public and created

awareness among them about 20 Non-

Negotiable Points under this

Programme. Ward-wise dynamic action

plans were also prepared after conducting transcit walk in the concerned wards. The

Special Officer for JBMV-III was also attended the certain Ward Sabhas. All the JBMV

petitions received are got registered and redressed within the scheduled time.

INNOVATIVE:

Remote Operating with INTERNAL HALYARD FACILITY (INNER ROPE) Indian

National Flag with 12 x 8 feet has hoisted by Sri J.C. Prabhakar Reddy, Hon’ble MLA,

Tadipatri on the eve of 67th Republic Day Celebrations in the premises of Municipal Office,

Tadipatri. The height of the FLAG

POST is 42 feet from the ground level

with 9” – 6” mm dia M.S Steel pipe. ½

HP Electrical Motor Gear Box and 4

mm dia Metalic Rope with self locking

system is used to operate for FLAG

hoisting. The local news papers have

appraised the event and enlightened to

the public.

Cultural activities are conducted on the eve of 67th Republic Day Celebrations in

Diwakar Municipal Auditorium on 26-01-2016 from 4 PM onwards. On this occasion all

28 Municipal School students along with the teaching staff participated in the programme

and the student have performed exciting, chilling, and most dramatic skits and dance

programmes and got prizes from Sri J.C. Prabhakar Reddy, MLA and Smt B.Venkata

Lakshmi, Chairperson, Municipal Council, Tadipatri. The prizes are sponsored by

SPARSHA (NGO) Organization. The best performing employees of Municipal Council,

Tadipatri (both teaching and non teaching) have honoured on this occasion by MLA,

Chairperson and Municipal Commissioner.

STAKEHOLDERS MEETING:

A Meeting was conducted in the Municipal Office premises under the chairmanship

of Sri J.C Prabhakara Reddy Garu, Hon’ble MLA, Tadipatri on Town Development with the

Community involvement as well as beautification of the Town. Large Number of

Representatives from all the sectors have attended the said Meeting and assured they will

also involved in Town Development Activities. The Hon’ble MLA has also appealed the

people for voluntary participation in SWACHH BHARAT Movement and everyone should

actively involved in making the CLEAN & GREEN TOWN concept so as to declare the First

Open Defecation Free Town in new Andhra Pradesh.
