Give Us A Helping Hand? Range Maintenance for YOUR range is performed as a service, at no charge to the club, by a few volunteer
members. They ask for your help when using the range to make their job a little simpler. Artie Delpup
suggests these ideas. Please try to help him and do a little yourself if you see something you can spend a few
moments on. Thanx.
GARBAGE RULES (1) No large cardboard targets or boxes in garbage bins, shell boxes ok. Use cardboard only bin. (2) Do not crumble up large paper targets, fold them and place in garbage. It will save space. (3) Absolutely no food in garbage bins. Dispose of food at home. (4) Garbage is only picked up 2 times a month, if you can please dispose of your shooting garbage at home to reduce the amount of garbage that accumulates in the bins.
TARGET RULES (l) Try to use the oldest target boards first. (2) Center your targets on the target boards. Targets placed too close to the edges will result in more damage to the frames of the target boards. (3) Please place the shot up targets (the ones in need of dire replacement) to the right side of the firing line. This will help the people doing the repairs. (4) After shooting please move the target boards back to the sides of the range to keep our range looking at its best. Make sure to remove your targets off of the target boards. (5) While shooting at any targets placed on the ground or walking to your targets please be aware of the Trap shooting standing area (boxes).Ground targets are best placed to the far left or right of the range as not to damage these boxes.
900 Aggregate Camp Perry Course Nov. 3, 2012
It was Springtime in November. Seventeen pistol shooters came to try their hand (and that was one-handed) at Conventional Pistol Shooting. Slow Fire, Timed Fire and Rapid Fire. The match was shot without classification of guns. A few shot an additional gun in space available
in the second relay but their first score counted for the match. The match ended with Matt VanSteen shooting 738/900 10-X, Larry Mongue 735/900 4-X and Art Douville 667 7-X. It was an enjoyable day trying a new game. .
