Michael Prescott McClure
Michael McClure is currently touring the country with the National tour of A Christmas Story The Musical as the male swing. Michael is a native Texan who grew up in Cleburne, Texas and
when he is not on the road he now calls New York City his home. After high school he attended Sam Houston State University where he received a B.F.A. in Musical Theater with an emphasis in Dance. Some of his favorite roles in college included Mark in Rent, Guido Contini
in Nine, and Dickon in The Secret Garden, as well as representing SHSU in the gala performance for ACDFA with Andy Noble's Maelstrom. Earlier this year he was a member of the ensemble and the fight captain as well as the understudy for the Subway Ghost & Willie Lopez on the 1st National Tour of Ghost The Musical. Previously he has worked at Stages Repertory Theater in Houston portraying Solomon in Speech & Debate as well as Hollis Bessemer in the American Regional Premiere of Road Show. In the Spring, he will be
portraying Clyde Barrow in Bonnie & Clyde as well as Caleb in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Derby Dinner Playhouse.
