Using every second Pin, and starting on corner, make asquare Daisy using 2 wraps for each pin. Cut yarn leaving an80cm tail, over-sew around the middle twice and secure with aknot behind – 16 double petals on each ower.

Weave in ends through middle to secure.

CROCHET FLOWER BORDER

Work around 10(10) Flowers (A)

With RS of Flower facing, make a slip knot and take througha corner double petal, work (6ch, 1dc in next double petal) 15times, 6ch, 1dc in rst double petal, sl st in 6-ch. Fasten off.Weave in ends through crochet work.

JOINING CROCHET FLOWER BORDER

Used to make Flower Panels (B) 

With RS of Flower facing, make a slip knot and take througha corner double petal, work (6ch, 1dc in next double petal) 4timesJoining Row

 Arrange 2 owers with WS facing of Flower A, and with RSfacing of current petal B placed on top, 3ch, 1dc in rstright-hand 6-ch lp on any side of a Flower A, 2ch, 1dc in nextdouble petal of Flower B to the left, (3ch, 1dc in next 6-ch lp tothe left of a Flower A, 2ch, 1dc in next double petal of Flower Bto the left) 2 more times. Join nished.

(6ch, 1dc in next double petal (B)) 7 times, 6ch, 1dc in rstdouble petal, sl st in 6-ch. Fasten off. Weave in ends throughcrochet work.

Finished Set

Continue to join owers using above method to make:

6 (6) panels of 2 owers. 4 (1) panels of 4 owers

0 (3) panels of 5 owers

JOINING CROCHET FLOWER BORDER (Shoulders)Used to make Flower Panels (B)

Left Shoulder With RS of Flower facing, make a slip knot andtake through a corner double petal.

Joining Row Arrange a 4-panel with WS facing with RS facing of current

petal of Flower B, placed on top (see diagram below), 3ch,1dc on rst right-hand 6-ch lp on right-hand ower of a4-panel, 2ch, 1dc in next double petal of B to the left, (3ch,1dc in next 6-ch lp to the left on 4-panel, 2ch, 1dc in nextdouble petal of Flower B to the left) 2 more times. Join n-ished.

(6ch, 1dc in next double petal (B)) 7 times, 6ch, 1dc in rstdouble petal, sl st in 6-ch, Fasten off.

Repeat for Right Shoulder . Weave in ends through crochetwork.

LOOSE CROCHET PANEL JOINS ROWS

 Arrange 2, 2-ower Panels, with WS facing of lower panel,and with RS facing of upper panel, placed on top (it may beeasier to lay at on a table to work).

Start with a slip knot through the rst right hand 6-ch lp ofthe upper panel, 1ch, 1dc in same lp, draw out lp to 5cm,1ch, do not tighten.

Insert hook through rst right-hand 6-ch lp of the lowerpanel and work 1dc, work 1dc around post of last dc to lockdrawn out lp.

*Draw out lp to 5cm, 1ch, do not tighten.

Insert hook in next 6-ch lp of the upper panel and work 1dc,work 1dc around post of last dc to lock drawn out lp.

Draw out lp to 5cm, 1ch, do not tighten.

Insert hook through next 6-ch lp of the lower panel and work1dc, work 1dc around post of last dc to lock drawn out loop.

Repeat from * across 2 panels, including 6-ch lps of side

 joins, as pictured.

Finished Set (when attened, lower is now pictured above)

Continue to join panels using above method to make:

Both sizes: 2 pieces, of 3 (3) panels of 2 owers with 2 join-ing rows for lower front.

S-M only: 4 panels of 4 owers with 3 joining rows for back(including shoulder piece – as pictured).

M-L only: Shoulder Panel, (back, 4 owers + front singles)then 3 panels of 6 owers, with extra ower on eachside of rst panel joined to 4 Shoulder panelsnot joined above (as pictured).

LOOSE CROCHET PANEL JOINING 2 FLOWERS to 1FLOWER

Right-Hand Side Front

 Arrange the Single Shoulder (RHS) with WS facing, and withRS facing of Front Panel, placed on top.

Start with a slip knot through the rst right-hand 6-ch lp of thefront panel.

1ch, 1dc in same lp, draw out lp to 5cm, 1ch, do not tighten.Insert hook through last side 6-ch lp of the Shoulder Flower(see diagram) and work 1dc, work a 1dc around post of last dcto lock drawn out lp.

* Draw out lp to 5cm, 1ch, do not tighten. Insert hook throughnext 6-ch lp of front panel and work 1dc, work 1dc aroundpost of last dc to lock drawn out lp. Draw out lp to 5cm, 1ch,do not tighten. Insert hook through same 6-ch lp of ShoulderFlower and work 1dc, work 1dc around post of last dc to lockdrawn out lp.

Repeat from * across 2 panels, working 2 sets of dc in each6-ch lp of Shoulder ower, and 1 in Front Panel, as pictured.

Finished Set (when attened, lower is now pictured above)

Repeat in reverse for Left-Hand Side.

SIDE JOINS

Weave in loose ends through crochet work.

Starting at the bottom ower at the side of the Left Front, andwith RS of ower facing, make a slip knot and take througha the 6-ch lp,*(6ch, 1dc in next 6-ch lp) 3 times, (6ch, 1dc)

3 times into Extended Ch panel joiner. Repeat from * once,(6ch, 1dc in next 6-ch lp) 3 times, 6ch.

Joining Row

Turn work to have front just worked behind with wrong sidefacing, and back left side back RS facing on top.

1dc in rst right-hand 6-ch lp of 2nd ower panel from shoul-der (will correspond to last ower worked on front), 3ch, 1dcin last 6-ch lp worked on side front, 2ch, 1dc in next 6-ch lp ofBack, *(3ch, 1dc in next 6-ch lp of side front, 2ch, 1dc in next6-ch lp of back), repeat from * along side, working 3 sets intoExtended Ch panel joiner and each 6-ch lp.

6ch, sl st into rst dc on Front side.

Repeat process to join right-hand seam.DO NOT CUT OFF YARN.

BORDER

Rnd 1: Sl st into 6-ch lp, 1ch, 1dc in same lp, (6ch, 1dc in next6-ch lp) repeat and cont in this manner, working into each6-ch lp around petals, working 3 sets into extended ch join-ers, sl st into rst dc to complete round.

Rnd 2: Sl st, into rst 6-ch lp of Rnd 1, 1ch, 1dc in same lp,(4ch, 1dc in next 6-ch lp), repeat and cont in this manner,working into each 6-ch lp on all sides and working 2 sets infront opening corners.

Sl st into rst dc to complete round.

FINISHING

Weave in any loose ends, through crochet work.

Fringe

Cut 40cm lengths of yarn. Put 2 strands together and fold inhalf to make a loop. Draw folded loop through the middle of4-ch lp along bottom edge, put ends through thefolded loop and pull rmly to tighten. Attach a fringe in each 4-ch loopalong bottom edge.
