BX-palonrajoitinventtiiliä käytetään poistoilmaventtii-linä palo-osaston rajalla katkaisemaan mahdollinen tulipalo. BX-1H-palorajoitinventtiilillä on paloluokka EI60.

Palorajoitinventtiili toimii mekaanisella sulakelaukai-sulla.Sulakelaukaisulla olevaan palopeltiin saa mikrokytki-men kiinnioloasennolle tai aukioloasennolle.Palopelti on CE-merkitty seinäasennukseen, CE-1488-CPD-0282 BX-1H: EI60 (ve i ↔ o)S

Toiminta Palotilanteessa sulake laukeaa 72 °C asteessa ja jousi sulkee palorajoitinventtiilin.Normaalissa toiminnassa tuote toimii poistoilmaventtiilinä kytkettynä poistoilmajärjestelmään. Ilmavirrat on mahdollista mitata ja säätää halutuksi tuotteen keskikartiota pyörittämällä.

Rakenne BX-palorajoitinventtiili on tehty sin-kitystä teräslevystä. Lisäksi keski-kartiossa ja rungossa on keraamis-ta massaa.

BX-1H fire valve is designed for all kinds of buildings where the evacuation plans include a one-stage scenario based on theconcept of the separated fire zone. It meets the requirements of all kinds of buildings where in case of fire the fire zone is cutoff from the others with the use of fire valves which are closed in that zone while ventilation and air conditioning systems worknormally in other zones.

BX-1H fire valves are designed for terminations of ventilation ducts or as transfer elements in partition walls. In case offire BX-1H valve enables the fire zone to be cut off. Closing the valve head enables the partition wall with the valve toretain its fire resistance. Therefore the other zones are not only protected from hot smoke and gas but alsoventilation and air conditioning systems in the rest of a building are able to work normally.In the normal working of ventilation system the valve is still open (in the stand-by position). The zone where fire hasbeen detected will be separated by closure of the valve head (turning from the stand-by into safety position) resultingfrom:- rise in temperature in ventilation duct above 72°C and automatic activation of fusible link- activation of electromagnet controlled remotely by impulse or current interruption.Closure of the valve results from release of potential energy which is accumulated in the tight spring of control mechanism.A return to the stand-by position of the valve can be done manually by opening of the valve head and tensioning thespring of control mechanism.In case of automatic closure of the valve resulting from activation of fusible link, at first the fusible link should bereplaced with a new one, and then all the operations mentioned above can be done in order to open the valve. If thevalve has been exposed to fire, it has to be replaced with a new one. Signalling system of closure of the valve head isprovided by the use of microswitches indicating position of valve head.

BX-1H fire valve consists of:- casing with circular section made of painted sheet steel and fire-resistant material- movable valve head made of painted sheet steel and fire-resistant material- heat-expansion seals to provide fire tightness and smoke tightness- mounting collar made of sheet steel- control mechanism
