CAE Ultrasonics' IM Series immersible ultrasonic transducers are designed for installation in new or existing cleaning tanks, introducing the speed and efficiency of ultrasonics to the wash and/or rinse process. They can be fitted to tanks from as small as 5- to several thousand-gallon capacity. Immers- ible t ransducers are interchangeable, indepen- dent modules housed in water-t ight stainless steel, compatible with a wide range of cleaning agents. They are designed for heavy-duty, contin- uous operation and are ideal for use in many pretreatment, plating, and finishing applications including the removal of buffing compounds, oils, or deburring media.
