Beloved TVOKids host Gisèle travels to libraries across the province, encouraging young readers to check out her book of the month from the Big Backyard Book Club. The tour sets out to nurture a love of reading and literacy in kids and inspire families to read together.

TVOKids Live, also known as the TVOKids Don’t Sit Still Tour, has been taking its free, live stage show across the province for over ten years, with a message of healthy eating and regular exercise. The tour featurespopular TVOKids hosts who have performed over 300 shows in communities across Ontario. The message to kids is “get active, eat right and have fun!”

Every September TVO kick starts the school year at The Word On The Street Festival in Toronto, a day-long celebration of literacy and the written word. TVOKids offers literacy-themed activities and a live stage show with performances from the cast and characters from Gisèle’s Big Backyard and The Space.
