There are no two-ways about it:Food is central to our experience as humans.

Fundamentally, it nourishes us, but food has deeproots in culture, religion and emotion. Food has the

ability to be powerful and complex, but with thehustle and bustle of everyday life, we also need it to

be simple.

That is what we have tried to do with this recipe book- we’ve taken your weekly shopping staples of eggs,

potato, avocado, chicken, beef and fish and given youtwo ways to use each of these hero ingredients. Not

only does this provide variety, but it also reduceswaste. The recipes are flexible to suit two approaches

to nutrition: animal-based and plant-based.

Being busy shouldn’t prevent us from eating simplebut nutritious meals, so we hope that these recipeswill inspire you to cook exciting and tasty food with

common ingredients. From breakfasts to dinners, thisbook will have you covered for every day of the week
