Trail Use: Moderate
Length: South Wilowbrook Trail – 0.7 mi., North Willow Creek Trail – 0.8 mi.,
Three Peaks Trail – 0.5 mi.
Elevation: The lowest elevation is at the Willowbrook Trailhead at 8,840 feet. The
highest point is at northern junction with the Gore Range Trail at 9,600 feet.
Elevation Gain: 760 feet
Open To: HIKING, HORSE, X-C SKIING, SNOWSHOEING
Access: Willowbrook Trailhead
From I-70, take Exit 205, Silverthorne and travel north on Highway 9 approximately 1.9 miles.
Turn left onto Willowbrook Road. Proceed about 0.7 miles to the trailhead at the end of the road.
Overnight parking is NOT allowed at the trailhead since it is on Town of Silverthorne property.
Trail Highlights:
The beginning of these trails are on Summit County Open Space and eventually go onto National Forest and enter the Eagles Nest Wilderness Area.
The South Willowbrook trail connects with Mesa Cortina Trail and eventually the Gore Range Trail.
These trails travel through lodgepole forests with some opportunities to view the surrounding moun-tains.
Eagles Nest Wilderness Regulations:
Motor vehicles, mountain bikes and motorized equipment are prohibited in the wilderness.
DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES IN THE EAGLES NEST WILDERNESS.
Group size is limited to 15 people.
Camping is prohibited within 100 feet of lakes, streams and trails.
Campfires are prohibited at any lakes in the wilderness including Willow Lakes and Salmon Lake
(stoves only).
