GRAZIA beAutypARty!Among the events organized for the Young Designers Competition, GRAZIA magazine organized a beauty party at the end of August at Kasta Diva, one of Moscow’s top restaurants. It was a sixties-style theme party, and participants could unleash their creativity in two sketches: a sixties-style suit and a velvet evening gown. The party was great! All the guests enjoyed the fashion and beauty mood, and quite a few celebrities and It-girls were there. Guests watched a master class and had fun in the beauty lounge, where stylists from REDKEN 5th AVENUE did their hair, makeup artists from MAKE UP FOR EVER did their makeup, MINX specialists did their nails, and a stylist from Die blonde (a Russian accessories brand) selected accessories to complement their look.At the end of the party, a Nikon photographer took their picture in a GRAZIA magazine cover pose.

DANCiNGALL SUMMerLoNG!Grazia magazine and the St.Tropez Beach Club in Saint Petersburg partnered up this summer with great pool parties each weekend featuring world-famous DJs.The interior of the beach club was decorated with pillows embroidered with GRAZIA logo, and a special “Grazia cocktail” was created for the occasion, made with sparkling wine, strawberry puree and ginger. Every person who ordered the cocktail received a new Grazia issue.

GRAZIA Russia spent August doing fitness training outdoors. On every weekend of August, instructors from the X-fit fitness centre offered training sessions at Olive Beach. After the sessions everybody was energized and in a good mood. The most active girls received gifts from UGG Australia and “Leovit” healthy food!

FASHION WEEK! Grazia South Africa took on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town in July 2012 and was a media partner of the campaign, thus the Grazia logo was used in all Fashion Week communication, on all Fashion Week signage.Six Grazia girls model, carrying letters spelling out Grazia, to walk through the crowd queuing outside the most popular show of Fashion Week. The Grazia team created a big stir with the crowd watching the girls - and then interacting with them. The official Grazia photographer took photos of people with the girls and the images with Grazia logo were uploaded on Grazia FB page. Back copies of Grazia were also placed on seats in selected shows, and in the Mercedes-Benz corporate hospitality lounge. Grazia also ran a competition sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week whereby readers could win flights and accommodation to Cape Town for Fashion Week.

gRaZia ❤JaSPaL EvENTAfter the launch of Style Hunter Awards with Jaspal, Grazia followed up with a delightful three-day in-store event to introduce JASPAL’s new Spring/Summer Collection.The event included a mix and match challenge and personal stylist service. During the three days, the Grazia fashion team worked as personal stylists at the Jaspal Central World Plaza to offer Jaspal customers style advice. Every evening, Grazia had a fun mix and match challenge, where readers and customers could use Jaspal items to create a stylish new summer look. The lucky winner won a Jaspal gift voucher. Grazia selected different items and tagged them with the “Grazia Loves” tags. Readers received a 20% discount on these items and a 15% discount on all the other collections. The “Galileo” show on TV Prva shot a big reportage on Grazia magazine. The program will show the audience how one of Serbia’s most popular magazines is produced. The story starts with the first editorial meeting, issue scheduling and planning, and then moves on to column product photography, article writing, and choosing the cover page. After the magazine is sent for printing, the Galileo crew follows the process of distribution all the way to the newsstands and readers. This 15-minute report will be broadcast on September 8 at 6:00 p.m. on TV Prva.TV Prva is one of Serbia’s most popular channels and “Galileo” always tops the ratings. The content and format of “Galileo” are very attractive. Every Saturday, the half-hour show presents interesting and unusual topics. “Galileo” host Milos Urosevic says that the Grazia magazine segment will appear on the show’s first program this season.

Grazia magazine, in association with prestigious fashion school Accademia del Lusso, organized a competition for a three-year scholarship at the academy. After a few months and receiving many letters and documents, academy director Mauricio Gonela and chief editor of Grazia magazine Svetlana Preradovic chose the winner. First place and a three-year scholarship at Accademia del Lusso went to Marijana Mihajlov, a twenty-three-year-old student from Elemir, who presented very cleverly designed and wearable dresses in GRAZIA’s easy-chic style.

GUESS THE COVER GIRLGrazia India caught readers’ attention with a FB contest that asked them to guess the celeb on the cover of the august issue. The first four winners received a pair of Vogue sunglasses.

For Calvin Klein’s launch of his new fragrance, Eternity Aqua, Grazia India created a reader contest on FB with bottles of the fragrance as the prize. Participating was easy: in the ‘comments’ space on the FB page for the contest, readers wrote a brief text explaining what rain means to them. Numerous replies arrived, and readers were enthusiastic. The Grazia India staff chose the best comments and awarded the prizes.
