Analysis of show:• Total of 7,043 visitors (All 3 shows – MACH 2006, Drives & Controls 2006, Electrex 2006)• Very quiet show and not sure if the co-location worked• Their preparation was not very organised and think it made the show suffer
Voltimum Analysis:• Registrations: 317 (95 electrical contractors, 36 Engineering Firms, 11 Local authorities 20 M&E Consultants…)• Tuesday best day for registrations –110• Uploaded to Voltimum – 268 (some already registered or no email address)• NEW WEB MEDIA SERVICES – Created VoltiCLIPS of seminars and became reporters• Produced an email covering show with clips in – many others now interested

Observations & Impressions of M&E 2005:
• Excellent training academy and CPD area – good speakers and well attended
• Poor attendance and poor understanding of one-to-one area
• Very high-quality visitors but not enough of them
• Visitors more ‘mechanical’ than electrical
• Very nice venue – good look and feel –relatively small show
• Organisers say they are pleased at the show as a first attempt – feel they have a good platform to build from

Preparation Update for M&E 2006:
• Doubled revenue on same period last year with 54 exhibitors confirmed• Aiming for 110 stands v. 103 in 2004 but bigger in size

• The first of six email drivers will be going out on 28th June. The email will go to last years registrations and visitors. Along with CIBSE members, Barbour Index building services members along with other data we have internally from shows we produce such as The Facilities Show (6,000), The Lighting Show (10,000), IFSEC (security event 60,000).
• Around five reminders will go to the pre-registered visitors to further entice them to the show.
•The first of 2 direct mail pieces will be sent out on 10th July. The first wave will go to around 20,000 people.
