Unconscious Bias Training Social scientists have found that all of us, regardless of ethnicity, have cognitive bias that influence how we perceive and make decisions about other people. This training, provided through the California Teachers Association Human Rights Department, will explore the understanding of cognitive biases and the influence those biases have on our perceptions and the decisions we make to enhance student learning and teaching in our increasingly diverse schools. Social scientists have found that all of us, regardless of ethnicity, have cognitive bias that influence how we perceive and make decisions about other people.
