God did not promise days without pain. God did not promise laughter without sorrow. God did not promise sun without rain. Here is the Good News. God DID promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

God is not concerned about a brick and mortar temple, but He is highly concerned for us as His temple (1st Corinthians 3:16-18, 1st Corinthians 6: 17-20). We are His workmanship – created to do good works (Ephesians 2:10). And we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Now the Big News: GOD HAS PROMISED THAT WE CAN BECOME HIS TEMPLE. THIS IS AN OVERWHELMING AND AWESOME THOUGHT.

THE VITAL IMPORTANCE OF A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

THE PROVISION

Very important. The only way a person can experience the provision of God is to have a personal relationship with God. This opportunity is simply to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior for the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting (John 3:14-21). 1

SCRIPTURES TO READ DAILY BEFORE ASKING GOD FOR WISDOM

1. 2nd Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear (to be timid/to be afraid/to be a coward) but a power (English: dynamite. This is the word used for the Holy Spirit) of love (a love feast) and of a sound mind (self-control/discipline/judgment). 2. Psalms 3 (A morning prayer), Psalm 4 (An evening prayer).

Psalm 4:8 (evening prayer) – In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 3:5-6 (morning prayer) – I lay down and slept, I awoke, for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people.

3. 1st Peter 5:6-7 God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Therefore, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you at the proper time. Casting (tossing) all your anxiety on Him for He cares for you.

4. Philippians 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication (a petition or a request), with thanksgiving let your request be known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

5. Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.

6. Isaiah 26:3

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is bent on You, because he trusts in You.

A Vision for All of Us

BEHOLD, I WILL DO SOMETHING NEW, NOW IT WILL SPRING FORTH. WILL YOU NOT BE AWARE OF IT? I WILL EVEN MAKE A ROADWAY IN THE WILDERNESS, AND RIVERS IN THE DESERT. – ISAIAH 43:19 What does God want from us? Hebrews 13:15-16: Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of our lips that openly profess His name. and do not forget to do good and to share with others, FOR WITH SUCH SACRIFICES GOD IS PLEASED. Benediction: The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
