DID YOU KNOW??? In 1921 in order to take control of his own Political party Hitler resigned until he was given complete control which became known as the Fuhrer Principal. (Read) In 1923 the failed ‘Beer Hall’ Putsch occurs in Bavaria causing Hitler to be arrested and sent to jail for 5 years. During the next 6 years Hitler wrote the autobiographical Mein Kampf which somewhat highlighted his beliefs. While in Jail Hitler met 2 future cornerstones of the NAZI party Joseph Goebbels and Herman Goring who would go onto to become Minister of Propaganda and head of the Luftwaffe in due time.
