The UAP Tandang Sora Board held their First Monthly Board Meeting in July 4, 2017 (Wednesday) at Shakey’sScout Rallos, Quezon City. Present on the Board meeting are (from Left to Right) Ar. Gessa Mae Abriol (CommitteeHead), Ar. Karen Mae C. Velasco (Director), Ar. Joana Lisa Dungca (IPP), Ar. Michele M. Laman ( President), Ar. JeniAnne Cruz (VP-Operation), Ar. Erika Anagaran (VP- Programs), Ar. Abigail Faye Ison (Treasurer), Ar. RonaldBuenaflor (Director), Ar. Ramon Alano (Director), Ar. Danica Baldomero (Secretary) and Ar. Marren Princess Layne A.Cura ( Committee Head). Nine out of Eleven Board of Members and two Committee Heads are present therefore aquorum was formed.

Agenda was the incoming July‘s General Membership Meeting and August Induction of Officers & NewMembers. Topics for CPD Seminars are also discussed. After the board meeting at Shakey’s board members ocularthe venue for July’s GMM at Ludo Scout Torillo and for August Induction venue at High Grounds Scout Rallos.

The UAP Tandang Sora Chapter had a way to get fit, have fun, vent frustration and make somefriends all in one go as we held our TSC Biggest Losser Badminton Camp last July 10, July 17 and July25, 2017 (every Monday or Tuesday of the month) held at Don Antonio Badminton Court,Commonwealth Avenue, Holy Spirit, Quezon City.

It’s a fun, fun, fun, night as the players experience sweat and agility. This is also the time todevelop future badminton players for the chapter. Every week more members joined the activity as wehad guest players to trained us and teach expert moves.

Tandang Sora Chapter started jam-packed for the Fiscal year 2017-2018 as the membersgathered in the First General Membership Meeting last July 26, 2017 ( Wednesday ) at Ludo ‘sBoard Game & Café , Scout Torillo , Diliman, Quezon City.

Event theme was “Play & Pay” (Paying Annual Dues has never been this fun). It’s a night offree fun games, food & drinks. It’s also a chance to pay IAPOA and chapter dues for the members.

Global Home headed by Mr. Claudio “Hans” Jansol as the Major Sponsor for this event.Sponsors have the chance to play and have some fun with the members.

UAP Tandang Sora Chapter joined the Post- Activity Celebration of the 39th National Disability, Prevention andRehabilitation (NDPR) Week as they conduct a Seminar on the Foundation of Accessibility & Universal Design forGovernment Building held last July 28, 2017 at Teatro Arkitekto 7th Floor United Architects of the PhilippinesHeadquarters, Scout Rallos, Quezon City spear headed by QC Central Chapter and District A3.

The event was participated by Local Government Units, Architects and National Council on Disability Affairs(NCDA).

The first speaker is Ar. Jaime Silva, fuap, APEC, Chairman of UAP Committee on Accessibility shared hisknowledge and passion on Accessibility Law: Key to Persons with Disability Inclusion. Second Speaker Dir. CarmenZubiaga, OIC for NCDA discussed Disability Perspective. While the third speaker Ar. Erico Abordo, Uap, Co-founderof AFA shared his knowledge on the Requirements for Accessibility Auditing.

The event is indeed a dynamic collaboration between Architects and Local Government Units for a responsibleAccessibility Law and Inclusion.
