Summer Student Ministry Intern! We are pleased to announce that Chelsea Price has been hired to work as our Student Ministries Intern this summer! Chelsea is currently a Junior at the University of Missouri—Kansas City where she studies Accounting. As the Student Ministries Intern, she will work 20 hours a week and assist Dustin and our other adult volunteers in all aspects of student ministry, including the summer mission trips. Chelsea grew up in Chillicothe and graduated from CHS in 2013. Throughout high school, she was an active partici-pant in the First Baptist youth group and has remained active in the student ministry programs there throughout college. Chelsea will help bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to our Christ4Life programs and her vibrant spiritual maturity will be a wonderful asset in the Student Ministry Internship position. She will begin working in late May and continue throughout the summer. Please lift up our entire student ministry program in pray-er, and be sure to extend a warm welcome and congratula-tions to Chelsea when you get the chance to meet her!
World Malaria Day — April 25th
Your church’s support of “Imagine No Malaria” has made a real difference, and has saved lives. In 2015 alone, more that 1 .2 million people directly benefitted from “Imagine No Malaria” projects; and through our greater partnership with the Global Fund, your support reached millions more! We appreciate and thank God for you and your church and all you have done! Together we have made real progress! Blessings, The Imagine No Malaria Team

take the kids to the YMCA from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. to enjoy
two hours of exciting activities such as swimming, use of the

as greeters and ushers that Sunday, so plan to attend and
invite your whole family.
Dear UMC, Thank you once again for funding the youth and chaper-
ones to go on the Confirmation Trips. I had the pleasure of

It was amazing and a worthwhile trip. We are so blessed to
have such a giving church.
Thanks again, Kevin Hansen

THANK YOU From Field School!
Thank you for helping us stock our extra clothes! Our
students enjoy having new clothes when they fall in puddles
or dump milk on themselves!
Thank you! Field Staff and Teachers
Thank You So Much! Words do not seem adequate to express our gratitude
to our church family. Thank you for the many prayers, dona-
tions, cards, flowers, food and visits. Also, thank you to the
bereavement team for the wonderful meal.
Special thanks to Rev. John Rice for conducting the
wonderful service. We looked forward to his many visits, help
and encouragement along the way. Scott was truly blessed
with the best friends anyone could hope for!
God Bless all of you, The “R. Scott Stephens Family”
Thank You! The family of Richard Lawrence (Larry) Dowell would like
to thank each of you for all the prayers, concerns and support
during Larry’s illness and passing. Pastor John visited often,
and it was greatly appreciated. The bereavement team
served a delicious meal prior to the visitation. The preschool
staff was very supportive as well. We have a wonderful
church family!
