IntroductionThis report provides an overview of activities and events organized on WB institutions, namely a series of lectures and training sessions by experts from business partners in the period of October 2017 - February 2019. Each institution created their own reports and materials, according to duration and type of activities. These reports and materials are summarized and/or adapted to this compiled report, separately by each institution.

1.University of Priština in Kosovska MitrovicaLectures by experts from TV Mreža, October 15 2017 – January 15, 2018

At the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica (UPKM), students of the Multimedia Communication Technologies module - Master Academic Study of the Electrical and Computer Engineering study program attended lectures and laboratory exercises by professional staff from TV MREŽA.

Lectures were held during the winter semester in the period from 15.10.2017 until 15.01.2018. Lectures included two teaching subjects that students attended during the winter semester:

1. Audio and video technologies and2. Audio and video production.

Audio and video technologiesLectures and laboratory exercises within Audio and video technologies were held by engineer

Vladimir Petrović from the TV MREŽA. Lectures and laboratory exercises were held in seven blocks of two school hours in the period from 15.10.2017. until 15.01.2018. years.

Teaching included practical work with equipment in the HDTV studio: cameras, video mixer, audio mixer, matrix, as well as work with appropriate software for broadcasting program contents: VMix and Elements.

An overview of the teaching units that were held within the Audio and Video technology subjects are given in Table 1. A detailed description of laboratory exercises in the form of PowerPoint presentations is available on the website: www.ftn.pr.ac.rs .

Audio and video productionLectures within Audio and Video production were held by Veroljub Miletić, producer of TV

MREŽA. Lectures were held in five blocks of two school hours in the period from 01.11.2017 until 15.01.2018.

Teaching included basic segments essential for the production of TV programs from the perspective of professional staff. Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with media forms, forms of multimedia TV forms and their contents, principles and models of scenario and synopsis creation. During the lecture students went through all the stages necessary for the production and post-production of multimedia TV formats.

2.The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Applied Studies

During the period of March 9 – May 22 2018, the School of Electrical and Computer Science (VISER) hosted a series of lectures by experts from JP Emisiona tehnika i veze.

Title of lecture: Description of digital TV broadcasting systemThe lecture deals with signal processing for digital transmission, description of characteristics of high power broadcasting transmitters, antenna systems, implementation of SFN network, signal quality parameters, as well as, DAB+ system description and HE-AACV2 audio coding.

Title of lecture: JP Emisiona tehnika i veze: services, resources and key issues in 2018The lecture presents JPETV company and services they provide such as such as DVB-T2 broadcasting, Analogue and digital terrestrial radio broadcasting, B2B telecommunication, Network services (MW links), Laboratories and Measurement equipment's.

Title of lecture: ETV Primary MW distribution network The lecture deals with MW network for distribution of radio and television signals from head-end to main transmitting sites, capacity, redundancy and QoS of MW networks, types of modulations, as well as Network Management System.

This lecture was delivered to VISER teachers during teacher training at JPETV on the 9 th of March 2018.

These lectures were delivered to VISER students during classes at VISER 12th of May 2018.

Title of lectures: 1. Digital radio – DAB+ perspectives and challenges

2. Telecommunications systems and technologies

3. JP ETV - company presentation

The first lecture deals with standards for transmitting of radio signals through various digital platforms, about DAB+ system, DAB+ parameters: frequency bands, code rate, bandwidth, number of channels, capacity, required effective radiated power (ERP), new services: DLS, EPG, Journaling, Traffic and Travel information, TPEG, Emergency Warning Functionality, Hybrid Radio, SFN Network...

The second lecture deals with telecommunications system and technologies for distribution of digital terrestrial television system that are now in use in different part of the world: DVB-T/T2, ATSC, ISDB-T and DTMB, about distribution of broadcasters services, about mobile broadcasting, as well as system for distribution od terrestrial radio: DAB/DAB+, DRM, FM Extra, IBOC, DVB-T2 lite. The lecture also included introduction of main parameters of DVB-T2 system: Guard interval, pilot pattern, FEC, bit rate, FFT, modulation, C/N, new services on DTT platform like EPG, subtitling, VoD Live Streaming, Hbb TV and finally few sentence about future of digital terrestrial television.

The third lecture presents JP ETV company and services they provide such as such as DVB-T2 broadcasting, Analogue and digital terrestrial radio broadcasting, B2B telecommunication, Network services (MW links), Laboratories and Measurement equipment's.

These lectures were delivered to students within WP partner institutions student training at VISER on the 22th of May 2018.

During lectures was organized a visit to JP ETV main transmitting station Avala, near Belgrade, where students were able to get acquainted with FM transmitters, DVB-T2 transmitters, rigid line, patch panel, DAB+ transmitter, MW network, Antenna system (UHF, VHF, FM and MW), Power Supply (UPS and Diesel Engine). At the end of the visit, at the ETV museum, were held lectures about MW network, DVB-T system and new technologies/perspective of DTT system.

3.University of SingidunumVisit to JP Emision Technology (ETV), March 10, 2018

On Saturday, March 10, 2018, a visit by Singidunum University students to JP Emision Technology and Communications was organized. JP ETV is one of the partners in the Erasmus Project DBBT.Students of SU visited Head End at Kosutnjak, met with laboratory and measurement vehicles. After visiting the laboratories, they visited the Avala Tower, the emission room, got acquainted with the system of contribution and distribution of the signal. 4.University of Banja LukaVisit to Alternativna televizija (ATV), April 20, 2018

Dr. Jugoslav Joković, as the main organizer of the visit, agreed with the ATV host Dragojlo Kopanja a schedule and a visit chart.Prof. Jugoslav Joković explained that the content of the visit should be a practical demonstration of the content of topics covered by lectures from the course Digital radio broadcasting systems and technologies, which he gave to attending students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Banja Luka.Students were introduced to technical support in the production of TV programs through the following ATV organizational units:PCR (or SCR) - Production (or Studio) Control Rooms,MCR - Master Control Rooms,Media Hubs - Ingest, Archive and CG (Computer Graphic),TCR - Transmission Control Room (Play out, Machine Room),Terminal - Contribution and Distribution System Center,ETC - Working Devices, Link equipments, Antenna tower with antennas, shown directions to transmitters’ locations.

5.Higher Technical Professional School in Zvečan

Lectures by experts from TV Mreža and TV Most, April 24 – June 5, 2018

In the framework of Erasmus+ project, and for the needs of HTPS Zvečan, the partner from the business "Independent TV network" held a series of laboratory exercises in two subjects "RTV engineering" and "Measurements in telecommunications" for students of specialist professional studies at the study program "Multimedia Technologies".Laboratory exercises are performed in a combination, both in the laboratory cabinets of HTPS Zvečan and in TV MOST Zvečan (a member of an independent TV network). Laboratory exercises are designed and carried out in a way that enables students to become acquainted with the work process in practice and enable them to acquire practical knowledge applicable in practice immediately after employment.

6.University of BihaćLectures by experts from RTVUSC , February 7, 2019

Sanel Alibegović, IT technician, long-time employee of the Radio Television of the Una-Sana Canton (RTVUSC) and the Head of the Tech Unit held a lecture on the topic of the Digitalization Process of RTVUSC to DBBT Master Study students at the Technical Faculty of the University of Bihać, on February 7, 2019.

The lecture consisted of two parts, production and digital broadcasting of the program. Through the mentioned segments, both parts were based on concrete examples of implementation in RTVUSC presented in the following way:

- Start of broadcasting programs: first systems, devices, switching from SHVS to BETACAM SP standard, the difference between standards, BETACAM standard devices

- Start of the digital process: devices such as digital cameras, operating principle - Production of the program: field devices and equipment are presented, direct reporting -

ENG team, production, field shooting with multiple cameras.- TV studio: studio cameras, studio microphones, stage design, studio lighting, LAN network,

archive- TV editing: The mounting unit, hardware and software of the assembly unit - TV Directing: TV directing is presented as a central place in the technological chain, such as

video mixer, audio mixer, broadcasting systems, graphics, communication (the relationship between studies and directing), and a complete scheme of connecting devices to the device

- Distribution: operators, transmitters, satellites, web portal and android applications RTVUSC- Digital broadcasting: Digital frequencies

By presenting all the above segments, students had the opportunity to hear about and see pictures of the whole DBBT process in the field of production and broadcasting of signals, as well as the digitalization process of RTVUSC.
