WELCOME
Every year, around 500 students choose to study with us on full or part-time HE courses. Our amazing range of undergraduate options give you a recognised qualification in your chosen field. Get where you want to be and empower your future with Higher Education.
Unlike many degrees, HNCs and HNDs are vocational, so they can lead straight to a career. A great stepping stone to a higher qualification, you can ‘top-up’ your HND at a later stage into a full bachelors degree.
FIND YOURSELF DREAMING BIGGER Study a Higher National Certificate (HNC) on either a full-time, or part-time course. It takes one year
if you study full-time, or two years if you choose to study part-time. A HNC is generally equivalent to the first year of a university degree.
A Higher National Diploma (HND) can also be studied on a full-time or part-time basis. Study for a year full-time, or two years part-time (once you have completed a HNC). A HND is comparable to the first two years of a university degree.
Combine academic study with workplace learning and study full-time or part-time. Designed in association with employers our Foundation Degree will give you the skills, knowledge and understanding to achieve academic results and it also improves your performance and productivity for work.
This final year of undergraduate study gives you a bachelor’s level qualification. You can top-up an existing certificate, like a Foundation Degree or a HND. Learn on either a full-time programme for one year, or on a part-time programme for two years.
Become a fully qualified accountant with our AAT Level 4 qualifications. Widely recognised by employers, they’re a great way to develop your accounting career.
Find your perfect numbers at nscg.ac.uk/accounting
Studying a higher-level apprenticeship can also lead to a degree. Find yourself a higher apprenticeship in Accounting, Business, Health and Social Care or Engineering.
