I. In the college reservation column, "UN" indicates the course is open to all university students, whereas "GR" indicates that the Department Head's permission must be granted in order to take the course.

II. The course sequence number is essential. Make certain it is correct. Print ALL digits in the number. The last two digits indicate the course section.

III. Classes begin on the half hour in the morning and ten minutes past the hour in the afternoon. GENERAL INFORMATION

I. NEW STUDENTS;

a. Undergraduates report to: Director of Admissions and obtain packet. b. Graduate Students report to: Dean of Graduate School, Room 11(2, Main Bldg.,

and obtain packet. c. If account is not prepaid, report to Student Accounts (ground floor, Main Bldg.). d. If you are a foreign student report to Fr. McGrath, Room 11*2, Main Bldg.,

after registration. e. Report to Room 232, Main Bldg. for your ID photograph. f. All Students: Proceed to O'Shaughnessy Hall to see Advisor and obtain schedule

after completing steps "a" to "e" as applicable. g. If you registered in advance and paid fee by mail, report directly to classroom

indicated on reverse side. h. Please memorize your "ID" number.

II. NIGHT STUDENTS:

a. (Who did not register in advance): Contact Dean of Graduate School office for forms and complete registration by mail prior to January 31st. "Class Entry Permits" will be distributed to instructors.

b. If you registered in advance, "Class Entry Permits" will be distributed to instructors. If you did not pay in advance, send fees directly to the Direct;or of Student Accounts upon receipt of statement.

III. IAW STUDENTS: "Class Entry Permits" will be distributed to instructors. Complete registration in Room 102 - Law Bldg.

IV. VETERANS; If benefits were authorized in September, do not report to Student Accounts unless: (l) you change course objective; or (2) September authorization covered September semester only.

V. PART-TIME STUDENTS: Permission must be granted by the Dean. Except for the above, you register the same as all others.

ALL STUDENTS VI. AUDITS: See Department Head who offers course for permit.

VII. CERTIFICATIONS: Your Tuition Certification will be retained by .the clerk at the classroom where you report. CDO NOT KEEP IT.] The remainder of the certification will be given to you for distribution as indicated below. Turn in Laundry Certifications at the Laundry Office; Lodging Certifications for those who have prepaid will be in hands of the Rectors. Others are to turn them in to Hall Rectors when you check into hall. Students eating at South Hall will exchange Board Certifications for dining card at the basement lobby on January 31st and February 1st.between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Students who eat at the North Hall will turn in Board Certifications in lobby of Manager's office. Same time.

CONTINUING STUDENTS

Wednesday, January 31st. 1962

If your account was not settled prior to January 16th, 1962 report to Director of Student Accounts (Jan. 1st., Monday) to obtain Certifications. If account was settled by the above date, all Certifications will be in room to which your are to report.

REPORT TO THE CLASSROOM ASSIGNED TO YOUR GROUP AT THE TIME DESIGNATED ON THE REVERSE SIDE. (THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE TIME PATTERN) Obtain your "Class Engry Permits" (provided fees are paid). Failure to obtain your permits on this date will cause a "Late Registration Fee" to be assessed. (Permission must be obtained from your Dean in advance, but your class schedule will not be guaranteed.)

If your packet shows that you failed a course in the first semester, proceed to O'Shaughnessv Hall for class adjustment. Other students will NOT be admitted to O'Shaughnessy on Wednesday, January 31, 1962.

"Drops" and "Adds" will be processed on Thursday or Friday, February 1st and 2nd, 1962 in the basement lounge of O'Shaughnessy Hall.
